2 months!

Parker is little Miss Personality at 2 months!  She knows what she wants and she better get it...or else.  She has found her sweet little hands and loves to try to grab things, she smiles, and she sticks out her bottom lip before a big cry.  Parker loves to stand-up (assisted of course), go to music class, have her passy, get kisses from her doggies, and sleep in her big girl crib!! I don't want to jinx anything now, but Parker is sleeping through the night...Sometimes she sleeps until 9 a.m.! Below is a hodgepodge of Parker during her 2 months.

Parker's Stats:
Weight 10.3 oz (25th%) 23 inches long (75th % maybe she will be tall!!!) Diapers: Size newborn/1
Eating: 6 oz every 3 hours (Wow!)
These pictures aren't as fun for Parker as they are for you and me...

She had a little sneeze, and here is Rascal to the rescue!

Did I mention 2 month old Parker doesn't believe in naps???  She is sleeping through the night though, so I'll let it slide!
She loves a good stretch when she's stuck in her stroller.

Bathtime is still one of her favorite things to do!

She loves stylin in her stroller.  The fan is a must for Parker in this Texas heat ;)
Smiling big smiles!  This is when Mommy and Daddy were out of town...She seems so sad without us, doesn't she?!?
She can't wait to visit Beanie and Bevo's house!

Parker cruising in her wheels with the top down! Daddy's in trouble already!

First Mother's Day

Jon and Parker worked really hard to give me a special first Mother's Day!  I feel so lucky to be a mommy and love our little family.  I am blessed to have a healthy, wonderful daughter and a very thoughtful husband!

I woke up to flowers, breakfast and bed, and one cute baby! Oh and Baby Parker even wrote me a card...I think she had some help from her daddy :)

Dad dressed Parker to the nines for the big occasion.  I think he did a pretty good job!  Thank you Traci Holt for my cute bow!

Daddy and Parker gave me a special present.  We made impressions of Parker's hands and feet for a frame that will also have a photo of us.

Parker was very lively and opinionated (as you can tell) during the entire process!

Then we had fun doing some tummy time outside.  As you can see, our furry friends were involved in tummy time as well.

We had a great time eating BBQ in Roanoke with Beenie and Bevo

 Beanie's first Mother's Day as a grandmother!!

 This is one proud grandpa!

Tired Parker and Daddy from giving Mom a very special 1st Mother's Day!  I am one lucky girl!

Helping Daddy build his shed, so my stuff fits in the garage!

Parker was stylin.

Isn't it cute how they sleep exactly alike?

Baby Parker is Born 4/6/12

Wow!  It was finally here...Parker's birthday.  Jon and I couldn't believe it was just one day away.    We decided to celebrate as a family of 2 one last time.  Jon took me on a special date and planted a beautiful Rose of Sharon to symbolize Parker's birth.  Since we were having a c-section, I wasn't allowed to wear any jewelry.  Of course my fingers decided to swell for the first time the day before Parker's birthday.  We stayed up until 3 a.m. trying to pry my wedding ring off.  I was so worried the doctors wouldn't go through with the birth ahh!

Jon and I arrived bright and early (4:30 a.m.) to the hospital.  Both of us were so nervous, we watched 16 Candles to put us at ease.  Jon made sure to wear a Texas Tech shirt to greet his daughter!

One proud Daddy...Did I mention he got in trouble for not tying his mask all the way?? Parker was born at 8:10 a.m.  She weighed 7lbs and measured 18 1/4 inches!

Beanie and Bevo! Parker's legs stuck straight up for hours before they finally went down.  She was a stubborn, breeched baby!

Parker's leg looked a little uncomfortable!  No wonder she was ready to come out.
 This is one happy Grandma!

Jon's family made the trek from Houston, and they couldn't wait to meet Parker!

Her sweet little foot

This is one tired Daddy!
We are a little, happy family!
